One of the great things about becoming a Virginia Beach Jaycee, is that you have an instant support system for a cause that is near and dear to your heart. If you have a project you would like to see the chapter put on, complete the Project Management Guide (PMG) and present it to the board for approval. If you have questions while filling out the form, feel free to reach out to any veteran member for assistance. This form is the Jaycee version of a business plan. Fun Fact: Papa John started his business with a Jaycees PMG back in the day.
VBJC stands for Virginia Beach Jaycees. Members acquire points each time they attend or participate in a chapter activity or even another chapter’s activities. Members can redeem these points for awards from chapter t-shirts (50 pts) to discounts on your dues (100pts). These are also considered when determining the Jaycee of the Month, Quarter and Year.
Are you interested in getting more involved in the Virginia Beach Jaycees? Have you already chaired a project and are now looking for a way to really dig in and help the organization? Do you have a skill set you think would greatly benefit the Virginia Beach Jaycees? Consider apply for the Board of Directors! Be sure to let the Nominating Committee know of your interest!
Because Jaycees are part of a much larger, international network, a benefit of membership is corporate discounts.
